California Roll Sushi Recipe Without Seaweed

Smoked salmon is significantly cheaper and easier to come across than sushi grade fish so you can go wild with this one. However, in that case, it can't be called a california roll anymore but the maki sushi tastes great too!

Roll it tight, and chill before you cut, this will firm it up and alot the rice to stick together, i am a former chef, worked in japan and have made sushi for banquets were we had few mats and used some with and other without seaweed around them, regular sesame seeds are nice, black are more colourful and a combo is better, use what you have even parsley and chopped green onion tops will do.
