We recommend using 15% or less of palm kernel flakes in your cold process recipe. Measure out your water into a plastic bucket then measure out the sodium hydroxide into a separate container. In this article, i’m going to cover two options:

Coconut oil, babassu oil, and palm kernel oil can be substituted for one another (notice that palm kernel oil and palm oil are two different things and are not interchangeable. Stir in well with a stainless serving spoon until dissolved and leave the bucket in a safe area to cool.
